It doesn’t take long for a film with good content and emotional quotient to attract the audience and eventually it becomes a big hit at the box office. The subsequent effect would be for the film to grab some of the prestigious awards at various events. However, one film which has caused quite a sensation across the nation has now been met with shocking treatment.
We are talking about the Malayalam film Premam which is now in remake mode across several languages. But here is the shocking update. The Kerala State Awards are now announced by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy and it turns out that Premam has not won a single award.
This has shocked many members of the film fraternity and they expressed their surprise over this treatment to the super hit film. In Tollywood this movie is going to remake by Naga Chaitanya and now the shooting is on progress. Sources says that this film is made at a budget of 17 crores. And even before it is completed, it has been bought outright for a whopping 22 crores.
So, a table profit of 5 crores has come and the producer has kept one territory under him for self release. This is indeed a very positive sign because Chaitu has been reeling under a series of flops from a while. The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti.
