‘Killing Veerappan’ Date Not Yet Confirmed

Just when everyone is gearing up to watch the story of Asia’s biggest manhunt ever, some hiccups have come in. We are talking about the movie ‘Killing Veerappan’ helmed by the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma and featuring Shivarajkumar.

The film was due for release on December 11th but here is the latest update. It is heard that all the issues which the makers had with Veerappan’s wife Muthulakshmi have been solved officially. Even the stay order given by Bangalore court has been vacated.

Killing Veerappan is based on real story of Veerappan a Sandalwood smuggler who was active for years in forest lands covering the states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Director and written by Ram Gopal Varma, Music director Sai Karthik. Sandeep Bharadwaj and Parul Yadav in lead roles in this movie.Produced by B. V. Manjunath. Background Music and Sound Design by Ravi Shankar. The album has eight soundtracks.

Buzz is that the film will now go through the censor certification and a proper release date will come out. As reported earlier, the Kannada and Telugu versions will be releasing first and this would be followed by Tamil version at a later date.
