Whenever multiple film releases happen on a Friday it leads to a dent in the collections no matter how good they are. On the other hand, if the talk is weak then whatever little chance of revenue is left vanishes. This weekend, the Tollywood box office saw a similar situation.
A total of four films – ‘Kalavathi’ ‘Seetamma Andaalu Ramayya Sitraalu’ ‘Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi’ ‘Nenu Rowdy Ne’ hit the screens and as per the latest reports, all four of them have toppled today. But the trade pundits say ‘Seetamma Andaalu Ramayya Sitraalu’ has a chance.
All 4 Films Toppled
The openings were good and the talk was just about okay. As for the rest, none of them had a takeoff and the chances are high that by Monday, they would be removed from maximum theaters and replaced with the big ones like ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’.
This is the experience that the small movies usually face everytime. If there are no collections then without a second thought they just replace the movies with big collection movies. This time also a bad experience for these movies. Nenu Rowdy Ne and Kalavathi got good response in Tamil but in Tamil there are no collections itself.
