Whenever a good cinema comes, the audience gives its full patronage and support. At that point, the cost factor doesn’t come into calculation. These days, it has become very tough for a middle class family to go and watch a film in theaters because it would easily become a 1000 rupee trip.
At the same time, if the film is worth then spending few extra bucks is not an issue. Lately, the single theater association is coming up with a repeated request to the government that the Balcony ticket must be allowed to sell at Rs 100 along with fixed prices for other classes.
Big Deal For Film Buffs
This is really a hard situation for the middle class people to watch a movie. When more number of films are coming for summer, children will always ask their parents for a movie. If the movie ticket cost is more then it is really hard for the middle class people to watch.
While the debate is still on, some are saying hundred rupees for a ticket is no big deal for the cine buffs. This is true to a large extent but the real percentage of audience comes from the masses and families who think twice before spending that amount. Let us see what happens.
